Autism has nothing to do with conversion therapy. And scary is putting it mildly. It is a bunch of abusive practice set on pseudo-science.

As a LGBT Person, this makes me happy, but....


..Why does it matter? The bill bans involuntary therapies from being practiced by licensed professionals. It does not cover unlicensed people trying to make a quick buck. Even then, the practice and, by extension, the image of it, is slowly but surely dying out, as people who believe firmly in it get slowly pushed out by the younger generations, which very well will end up with this practice being well and truly outlawed, but that timeframe my be extended if the newer generation carries the same ideals as the older one.
