Yeah, her sleepy self will be 92 come that point. I don't believe her.

That's not what they're getting at. Ginsburg is already over the life expectancy for women and it's fairly well covered that she has trouble staying awake during court proceedings at times. She messed up hard by not retiring in 2013 or so because Trump could potentially replace her with a justice who is her polar opposite.

The republicans would not have allowed a replacement if she did.

Republicans have made it very clear that only they have a right to appoint judges. When McConnell announced Garland would not get a hearing the rest of the Republican Senators should have deposed him as leader.

It was hardly an unprecedented move. People need to quit acting like it was something new and crazy.
ffs Schumer said he would do the same thing if a SCOTUS seat opened in the latter half of Dubya's presidency.

Yes it was unprecedented. They refused votes on dozens of federal court seats as well.

All GOP seats, sans Heller in Nevada and McSally in Arizona, are also going to be held. Those two aforementioned plus Scott in Florida are the only two I'm iffy on; if the GOP losses all three but gets the pickups like I expec t them to, there is no change to the Senate. If they successfully defend Heller and McSally and get the pickups, that's a majority increased to 54. Run the gambit and get Florida too, and you get 55. This is pretty important, given that Gingsburg is 85 and Breyer is 80, which means either could drop dead any second. A firm Senate Majority and the happening means Trump could establish a 7-2 Court with all that entails.
Indiana is not a guarantee and Nevada is not guaranteed hold either. Florida isnt a done deal either.

Polling out of Indiana shows Braun has a developing lead and Indiana's PVI lends credence to this. If you had bothered to read the post, however, you would've saw I listed Nevada and Florida as tossups.
