Tbf, the biggest argument for semi-automatic rifles are my neighbors, so everything remains perfectly balanced.

I only say this because one of my idiot neighbors sounded like they were practically shooting one off into our back acreage (Despite them being able to just shoot straight at a hill), and another, further away one was using the semi automatic for quite a while at 1 AM at night, then later again at 2 AM.

Personally I would be happy to support an IQ test restriction on owning various grades of firearm, but people keep on telling me that would be “restrictive” or “culturally biased”, and also “disarming the most vulnerable in the face of oppression by the system”.

For some reason me honestly telling them that that is the point doesn’t go over well.

As of now, I think GOP pickups are likely in Missouri and Indiana and definitely so in North Dakota. All GOP seats, sans Heller in Nevada and McSally in Arizona, are also going to be held. Those two aforementioned plus Scott in Florida are the only two I'm iffy on; if the GOP losses all three but gets the pickups like I expec t them to, there is no change to the Senate. If they successfully defend Heller and McSally and get the pickups, that's a majority increased to 54. Run the gambit and get Florida too, and you get 55. This is pretty important, given that Gingsburg is 85 and Breyer is 80, which means either could drop dead any second. A firm Senate Majority and the happening means Trump could establish a 7-2 Court with all that entails.

You want the GOP to lose half it's base overnight when they take away their right to own guns?

I also fully endorse this plan. Common ground at last!

Plus Ginsburg and Breyer are going to sustain themselves out of spite towards the conservative establishment.

Indiana is close, but Florida is even closer, and Nevada I doubt the GOP will hold. I could see Indiana being a gain for the GOP though.

Maybe YOU don't but Indiana is a red state and the polling average has Braun up if only barely. Florida is the one that is tough to consider, but I could still see Nelsom hold it by 1 point or less though.
