To be specific: the Queen says that the Queen reigns by the grace of god. That "by the grace of god" thing is part of her name. She can feel free to say what she likes in that regard (as long as she doesn't claim a divine right to rule. That tends to get your head cut off. Similarly, private clubs can feel free to call themselves whatever they like.

Not true, but indeed, the lords spiritual are a silly idea and should be eliminated.

Not true. In fact I would say most of the founding values where diametrically opposed to Christian values.

The UK, unlike the USA, has a state religion (and has done well before the USSR came around)...

And also doesn't have the same binary view of religion that the US does. I remind you that this is a country that is both majority Christian and majority atheist (according to the same surveys, no less).

Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

I respect that opinion, but I see God and American culture as related in a very deep manner. Christian values and teachings have shaped the foundation of the United States and, indeed, all of the Western civilizations. That's why we need God in meaningful places.

Apart from all of the other problems with this, on money is just about the least meaningful place possible. Especially for a slogan associated with a religion famed for its anti-materialist teachings.

Mate, God exists and also, don’t you want conservatives to be less hostile to food stamps?

That's vanishingly unlikely, and no, I want them to stop fucking over other people. Dying of old age seems to be the main way they manage it.

How about instead of "in God we trust" it's "good luck" or something? It means pretty much the same thing.

The entrenched corporate interests have an incentive to remain the sole players on the field. like this one time a woman making fruit styled clothing for kids was sued by Fruit of the Loom for trademark infringement.

Go to a poor neighbourhood, to a large family, to a single mother who has to rent a car at extreme prices just to get to her jobs, whose kids go to a factually segregated underfunded school, who does not have money to let her kids go to college and tell her:

“This is your own fault. You should have worked harder”

His wife comes from a similar background, she works hard full time at a gas station and has a part-time job at another. Both of them are under 25. They have two children, neither planned, and the younger one had a lot of medical complications at birth, needed a surgery before 2, and still is very sick. They barely make the bills for their god-awful internet, the mobile home they live in, and the developing country level utilities the park they're in provide, payments for the two cars they need, insurance for those cars, etc. etc.

After all this they often don't have enough to buy all the food they need, and they shop at Walmart and Foodmaxx, the cheapest they can.

"Get a job" is just about the dumbest thing you could support putting on it.

It's easy to ignore flaws in a system when you can blame the lack of economic advancement on "Lack of Bootstrap Pulling". People can pull it bootstraps hard enough to use them as garottes and it won't change their standings.
