By calling upon your knowledge of the English language? Honestly, what kind of a question is that, you read something, and based on previous knowledge of definitions and word usage, you come to a conclusion. You seemed to have completely ignored the fact that it wasn't even an argument, and went on the defensive, taking the statement as a personal attack, thus proving NERVUN's earlier statement.Directly admit? You act as though misunderstanding someone is some sort of crime.
No, but continuing to deny your own actions and refusing to admit that it was a misunderstanding after some time is quite... How to put this... Disreputable, is the closest I can get, I'm certain there's a more accurate word in the English language for the meaning I'm looking for.
See this is exactly what I mean by useless. You are making a huge issue out of nothing at all in a pathetic attempt to make someone care. You are attempting to "rub in" a simply misunderstanding. Language is relative and my interpretation was one of many possible fully legal ones.
Continuing to deny my own actions? You speak to me as if I'm doing something horribly wrong and continuing to do so.

Do you mainly post to try to "argue/compete" with other posters simply to satiate a desire for conflict/attention?
I find that in real life people are nearly always kind, agreeable, ect and very easy to talk with but on NSG so many posters are exasperating.
Do discussions here have any impact at all or is it just a game to you?
edit: When I say is NSG useless I mean is it useless as a platform for discussion and debate of genuine feelings and ideologies held by posters.

Eugh. Do you not get bored of talking to people as if life was just one long Wordsworth poem?

However pathetic you may claim CM's actions to be, you dignified them with a response. For one so opposed to argument for its own sake, you seem rather inclined towards furthering arguments you seem to see as of that kind.

Yeah, really, and it matters because hypocrisy and lies are to exposed whenever possible. Even in minor matters, it not only makes for interesting debate, but occasionally leads to a reduction in the occurrence of both (I do not realistically expect anyone, including myself, to entirely stop being liars and hypocrites, and would hope that someone would call me out should I make such a mistake). Also here is where I realized she was not saying what I suspected she was saying:

You fail to directly admit as much.

I'm unsure if defending myself from baseless allegations is worthwhile or not worthwhile. What do you think?

By assertive what do you mean? People with poor social skills who are unable to communicate without using anger? I have actually met a couple people like that. In both cases the individuals were mentally ill and in one case it was a homeless man who felt that all the black people were out to get him.
No sorry I've found most people in real life to be extremely reasonable even when I totally disagree with them.
