Looking back now, I should've chosen him, but instead I chose Albert the Great since he was a patron of the sciences

St. Francis de Sales is my favorite, tied with St. Therese of Liseux, who is my confirmation saint. Their stories and their spiritual lives resonated deeply with what I hope to accomplish in the world, little deeds done with great love and gentleness. St. Francis de Sales's Introduction to the Devout Life is a very important book for me, as it guided me toward building a foundation for my spiritual life as I became a teenager. The Story of A Soul made me fall more in love with Jesus and with my faith during high school. Other favorites include St. Michael, St. John the Apostle, St. John Paul II, St. Mother Theresa, St. Francis of Assisi, St. John Vianney, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Philomena, St. Athanasius, St. John Chrysostom...

Some genuinely just admire the Orthodox Church. Others join because they hate Pope Francis or believe that Orthodox Christianity is the perfect alt-right religion, which has resulted in at least one anathema.

We often make fun of their types tbh. They have no place in the Church and Heimbach being excommunicated was hilarious.

Saint Fred Rogers for his devotion to the education of children.
