oh gosh, that poll.

I voted Labour last time, even though the tory candidate has a big majority, but if it was today...with the big two so useless, and the third one being so anonymous, I'd be tempted to vote for the famous Cricket Umpire, even if he is representing UKIP.

It is a shame that the poll results on NationStates can't have filters applied to them, such as sorting by country of origin as determined by IP address, as I suspect that many of the people who are voting in the poll are not even in or from the UK.

Throw her the fuck out already so I can vote for Mogg in these private Tory ballots, it's not going to get any better while she's at the helm. Two wasted years.

Maybe this thread should pull a mini-Brexit of its own by separating from NationStates. :p

I sense a title for the next incarnation of this thread..

But if we were really interested in differentiating poll participants outside and inside the UK, im sure there is an extrernal polling site which offers the option?

I'm not in or from the UK, but could vote in the UK if I were inclined to move there and register.

Indeed, but using that argument so could the entire world. We'd be packed in like sardines. :p

But seriously, I was just indicating that the poll results are likely not indicative of the way UK NationStates voters would vote, only the way that NationStates users would vote, and that it'd be handy having some kind of a filter function for the poll.

What I mean is that as an Irish citizen I'm allowed to vote in British elections. Or would be, if I lived there.

But seriously, I was just indicating that the poll results are likely not indicative of the way UK voters would vote, only the way that NationStates users would vote, and that it'd be handy having some kind of a filter function for the poll.

NS polls probably aren't even indicative of what NS posters think. Loads of threads have way more votes than people posting.

I think that the shark contribution to the bedroom economy warrants a permanent residency status.

Yup I am acutely aware of that, but unfortunately there is no filter in the world that could filter out bullshit. ;)

Why the entire species would want to pile onto the Isle of Wight I do not know. The only legitimate excuse I can think of is that there is a global Day of the Triffids scenario unfolding...
