He was celebrating the bombing, the event took place at a building named after and acting as a museum for the man who planned it.

It wasn't just the perpetrators killed in the air raid as even the article you linked notes.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

The plaque is a celebration of the bombing, not a condemnation of it, and in the Hebrew wording it's made clear that an Irgun member killed in a shootout after the attack is included in the number of the victims.

ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

*googles attack*

holy shit israel literally just flew their fucking jets to tunisia and blew up a building how is that even legal

*looks at article*

oh it's super fucking ridiculously illegal

how does israel keep getting away with this

israel constantly complains about getting backyard "rockets" fired at them and how no other nation would tolerate it yet they literally fucking gun down scientists in car bombings and drive-by shootings in iran and literally do fucking air strikes on buildings in other sovereign countries and they never face any serious repercussions

and now instead of talking about that time israel decided to conduct a military airstrike on a building in another country and the people that were effectively murdered by israel we're talking about how corbyn happened to be "near" a memorial for a completely different group of people and how it's an absolute outrage

Did it receive the sort of sanctions that Russia got for some of its allies accidentally shooting down an aircraft?

I think it started with the Nazis tbh.
Israel did extrajudicial stuff there too, its just nobody cared. I think they got into the habit of it in terms of conflating their enemies as equivalent.

They literally had Chris Williams on and given multiple opportunities to deny that he laid a wreath, but he was completely unable to, why? Because the photographic evidence alone is pretty conclusive on this.
