realistically speaking, your best bet would be to take the EU and inject some actual proper respect for freedom into it. this would instantly make the EU a much more free place without sacrificing the regulations that prevent it from descending into US style cyberpunk hell. of course, they will never do this, but it is nice to think about.
The best anglo country is Canada.

Apparently you only count as homosexual to the paper pushers if you're in an active relationship.

i read a book recently with a chapter written by an american who moved to canada and thought she really understood canada and their culture. she then realized through her work how fundamentally different the american and canadian outlook on certain issues are and subsequently how utterly screwed she was due to living in canada. she then looked through canada's history and saw that it was filled with dirty bullshit past and present. it was very interesting to read, since it very strongly mirrors what happened to me. i cannot express in words how badly canada is lying to you everytime it opens its collective mouth.

I mean, wouldn't you at least read the wikipedia page when writing your speech? Like at the very least?

If you're going to be hyper-technical, you could argue that for the brief period between the establishment of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1945 and the break between Tito and Stalin in 1948, Slovenia was part of a state that was within the Soviet sphere of influence.
But somehow I very much doubt that Mr Hunt had this three-year period in the 1940s in mind.

Or it is more workable. Not sure that's a high bar however. As far as I am aware, May's approach is contradictorary.
Besides, how could they divide the government more, and what would that achieve?
