the reason feminists don't get to be part of the chain on the whole shoulders of giants thing is that their movement has been actively refusing to countenance criticism or opposition and have prevented their theories being scrapped for better ones for decades now while insisting feminism = equality, like if freudian psychologists kept saying freudianism = psychology despite it being a mess of prejudices, assertions without evidence, etc, and then they went around ruthlessly suppressing actual theories on it and demanding everyone take shitloads of cocaine and fucking up mental health for the public, much like feminists have fucked up gender equality. That behavior? means you go on the scrap heap, along with the geocentrists and creationists, rather than getting a tacit acknowledgement you founded a field of study like the freudians got for not being hostile to progress and science.

You're acting like it's not predictable. It is. It's been predictable for ages. (Reminder that making accurate predictions is how science works, that feminism routinely fails to do so, and anti-feminist critics are pretty good at doing so.) You don't need to be a psychic to know why feminists will fuck this up and make it misandrist, you just need to actually understand sexism, how it works, and why feminism is a crap framework for understanding it riddled with bias, prejudice, and unfounded nonsense.
