"The average big company has only 3.4 lobbyists in Washington, and for medium-size companies that number is only 1.42. For major companies, the average is 13.9, and the vast majority of companies spend less than $250,000 a year on lobbying. Furthermore, a systematic study shows that business lobbying does not increase the chance of favorable legislation being passed for that business, nor do those businesses receive more government contracts; contributions to political action committees are ineffective too."
"The numbers instead indicate that lobbying hurts the underlying capital values of corporations."

One day Mr. Supreme and Lord Buckethead will receive the votes they deserve, but it is not this day.
I am slowly starting to believe that Mr. Supreme has it right. The whole political arena is a circus, from the two party duopoly whose main difference is how they want to destroy your freedoms. We can put on our suits and ties, act serious, and gain a whopping...3.2%. Or, we can showcase the system for what it is using humor and potentially gain far more traction

As intriguing as Vermin Supreme being on the ballot would be to me, I think I'd rather see Adam Kokesh get the nomination so that splitting the US gets discussed more, even though I would only split it into several region-based nations, not 50 individual state-based nations.Victoriala II wrote:if vermin loses the nomination imma fuckin freak

I thought of it as demographic warfare waged by parties to gain or keep power. Ex. Democrats supporting immigration for more votes, Republicans opposing immigration to keep potential enemy voters out.
