It really is though. Just check out who the biggest lobbies are in DC.

Jacob Hornberger won the Iowa Libertarian Primary.

Sauce.

So it seems like Mr. Supreme is really only popular in New Hampshire.

One day Mr. Supreme and Lord Buckethead will receive the votes they deserve, but it is not this day. :(

I am slowly starting to believe that Mr. Supreme has it right. The whole political arena is a circus, from the two party duopoly whose main difference is how they want to destroy your freedoms. We can put on our suits and ties, act serious, and gain a whopping...3.2%. Or, we can showcase the system for what it is using humor and potentially gain far more traction

True, that. Vermin's wacky antics will undoubtedly attract huge amounts of attention to libertarianism if he gets the nomination.

Also, if https://twitter.com/VerminSupreme is his real Twitter then he's actually super based.

The Libertarian National Committee prefers putting up Republicans and Democratic rejects. I wouldn't be surprised if Lincoln Chaffee wins it. As much as I like Vermin, he doesn't have a chance.

As intriguing as Vermin Supreme being on the ballot would be to me, I think I'd rather see Adam Kokesh get the nomination so that splitting the US gets discussed more, even though I would only split it into several region-based nations, not 50 individual state-based nations.

Adam Kokesh? Throws up in mouth.

I'm honestly disappointed in the Libertarian Party: this is the best they can do?

^states, with senators each, and counties, and localism for little states is your american way, given by founders, to preserve democracy.

namely, democracy is rule of demos, read county or outskirt. nothing resembles closer to ancient ethos, for me, than electoral colleges and such.

Very much this. Our monkey brains have not adjusted to a complex civilization requiring international cooperation, instead we are inclined to form into tribes for everything under the sun. Identity politics in particular is a recent manifestation of this tribal thinking.

I thought of it as demographic warfare waged by parties to gain or keep power. Ex. Democrats supporting immigration for more votes, Republicans opposing immigration to keep potential enemy voters out.

^_Liber Americae, i find your posts agreeable and with issues i often see the same. yet, here make a further step. ethnicities have preference for parties.

pillage citizenship is an issue for some of immigrants, same as familist bribery is for some of good parentage. yet, ‘power’ does not exist. there’s no tribes.
