I am sorry to say that I'd see gun control and social anarchism as pretty incompatible in terms of ideals, though it is a view many (though perhaps not most) social anarchists hold. Social anarchists can get into quite a bind on these issues. They quite often end up defending the welfare state for instance, even thought that too is totally against anarchism.

Tell that to these hundreds of thousands of people who can't defend themselves against crime, and even (in case of the UK) have to protect robbers from drowning in their pools.

Torra once did so, immediately after the Parkland shooting, because Torra was thoroughly spooked by it, especially by the videos from inside the classrooms.
