If it doesn't say that they need to be discriminated against, or shunned, or whatever, then logically discriminating against them is not a tenet of their religion and they're just using the religion as a shield against criticism for being a hateful jackass.
No..again, this is known that several sects of Christianity have interpreted passages of the Bible differently than others, and so they discriminate against homosexuals.
I seriously cannot understand what you are trying to say. Just because something isn't specifically said but instead vaguely stated and can be interpreted many ways doesn't mean that one of the interpretations is just a shield for being a "hateful jackass".
