You are a victim of a terrible accident and rendered a quadriplegic. After a few month hospital stay a tech billionaire comes to you with a offer. They tell you "What if I told you I could give the ability to walk again ? I call it STEM its a computer chip that's going to change everything. Its a new better brain and to be clear your thoughts will still your own." Do you accept their offer to be their test subject?
You find out later you are faster stronger and more intellectual than anyone you know. The one trade off is the computer talks to you. A voice only you can hear.
I think I would say yes. At that point what would I have to lose? If it didn't work than at least I could say i tried the most advanced treatment possible. Plus the idea of six million dollar man is rather cool.
What say you in NSG? Would you accept the offer?

Are we talking tactical appraisal, and loyalty like Cortana?
Or Skynet, and well...the rise of the machines.

Nope, that's how someone takes control of your body and makes you murder the important person giving a speech in front of the crowd. You get all the consequences and the guy who made the chip gets what he wanted.

How do you come to that conclusion based on the parameters given?

Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.
