“...My only complaint is that this guy seems to have plot armor thicker than the hull of a battleship. What’s this Holy Grail thing, anyway? I tried looking it up using foreign information networks but I kept seeing footage of knights being butchered by a rabbit... I don’t think that was a legitimate source.”
...and Josephus sorta started a nuclear war, so I'll just ignore the fact that Kakistopia has almost 50% of deaths due in some part to the God-Empress, and I'll also ignore that Josephus XII was raised as a child-soldier, and I'll say Josephus is the more horrible leader.

I have a nice .300 blackout upper receiver, and would rather have two rifles chambered in two different calibers than one rifle that can be rechambered easily. Be careful with your ammo and don't mix it. A .300 BO can chamber in a 5.56/.223 barrel and end in disaster.
On a different note, anyone got recommendation for a good set of detachable iron sights for a 16" AR-15? I was thinking MBUS Pros but I wanted a bunch of internet folks thoughts.

On my 16" upper, I have the Magpul MBUS flip up rear sight, and the stock A2 FSB.

Perhaps, in the future, a poll can be made to get an idea about it.

Affordability
Suitability (.22LR for squirrels, bigger .22s for long range little things, and big-bore for legal hunting reasons, etc)
Ammunition supply-chain (6.5x55 Swede and .303 British, although available, isn't exactly everywhere)
If it's ugly, uncomfortable, and can't shoot straight, but it accomplishes the above, then it's either a Mosin of a Hi-Point.
Kathol Rift wrote:In regards to the poll, I will never be able to stop loving a wood stock. It’s a little heavier and more breakable than a synthetic stock, but I love the feel of it and just how solid it feels. My rifle, a Ruger Gunsite Scout, has a wooden stock, and I love it.

Seen a few at Academy and I get email updates from RCBS and Dillion, those kits are more-so complete than the starter kits I started with back in the day.
I do wonder though, how frustrated some people will get when they find out the run on ammo at stores also means a run on reloading supplies or limited supplies due to ammo manufacturers ramping up ammo production?

When we've gone shooting at the range, I've become a Brass Bandit due to the possibility that we'll need to reload in the future. Most folks at the indoor range I frequent buy the 2 box limit, shoot, and leave. As such, there is plenty of brass to pick up and the RSOs are happy that I'm politely cleaning out the stalls once shooters come and leave. I've plucked about 1,500 casings off the ground of .223/5.56 so far.

This should make the job easier

The ranges that I frequent, I too pick up brass left by other shooters, I'll take it all. People look at us in a funny way when we walk in with 5gal buckets and firearms.
As for my own brass I use brass catchers on my firearms.
There is also the cash for brass route.

I was laughing one day because one of the guys at the range had his son and he was standing behind his son who was using his AR-15 with a cup and was catching all the brass in it.
