If guns were regulated like cars everyone would still be able to get one and you could still use one after an accident.

3 years after a gun-homicide whilst intoxicated behind the trigger of a stolen gun and a revoked license and you can get your concealed-carry license back.

And you still get to vote!

In a man-to-man fight, the winner is he who has one more round in his magazine.

I never understood this quote. Wouldn't it be the one with one less round because that means he hit his shot?

The point basically is you're going to miss 99% of your shots. If you run out of ammo before the other guy, you're dead.

The reality being that you probably won't live long enough to fire more than a half-dozen rounds unless you're blindfiring through walls, or engaging from cover, to someone else in cover.

Or you're both shooting in the dark, so sight alignment is nonexistant since you haven't trained for natural point of aim ever since the last time shooting skeet.

Or anywhere that isn't Florida. Though we still have pro gun laws, that don't make this state ''gun friendly''.
What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

Sorry to hear that. Here in Ohio, we narrowly dodged a gun law if it wasn't for the reps smacking Kasich's veto down.

Don't they still have that law forbidding people from carrying anything with more than 30+1 rounds?

Not really considering I have seen drum magazines around here that can hold up to 60 rounds. Plus, we are an open carry state, granted need CCW for conceal carry (of course).

Oh. Cuz I read some article that says Ohio has a law where the limit is 30 rounds plus one in the chamber limiting it to 31 rounds in a firearm, but good to hear that higher capacities are available.

Depends on where you live in Florida mate, and what you do that causes a conflict with law enforcement.

So, been eyeing me a few new guns, preferably the Sub-2000 Gen 2 and the GSG MP40 9mm to add onto my collection. However, looking into a new house and a new car are getting in the way of having fun things like that. :(
