Ah yes, that new gun smell... Time to break out the ammo and head to the range.

Also I love break-action, pump-action, bolt-action, and gas operated...

The only emperor I know goes by Kaiser. And the only bolt-gun I need is the Gewehr 98.

Kinda like bolt actions, I know they aren't the "best", and open-bolt automatics are nifty... I've had almost universally good experiance with them.

Pump actions, not so much. (due to improper initial instruction)
Lever guns, nifty but I find them too impractical.

Simple blowback (closed bolt): Useful, simple... but simple kinda like writing with a crayon. Nothing to hate, but not much to really like.
Direct gas impingement: Carbon fouling. Everywhere.
Long stroke Gas: Bent action-bars are a pain.
Roller delayed blowback: Simple blocback, but now with 50% more fiddly-bits!

PTRD-41... recoil operated bolt action at its finest.
