Non sequitur? I do not know what that is. But you are marginalising the Japanese people and their achievements of the Orient by lumping them in with white people, who since from time immemorial have sought to destroy the very foundations of Japan and the Emperor.

"Japanese people are the greatest people and they've achieved so much and white people suck" is all I'm hearing out you. Comrade, I believe that is racism. By the way, white people only truly got to Japan in the 1500s, and only tried to open it in the 1800s/1900s.

No, that's retarded and false, not necessarily in that order. Stupidly broadening a definition to the point of making it meaningless is stupid.
Vassenor wrote:I forgot people get triggered when you don't see Muslims as the greatest threat to civilisation in the history of ever.

You didn't, tho. You said that twelves people getting gased in a metro once was worst than anything muslims ever done in Europe to which I amicably pointed you to their 600+ kill counts and one of their most horrifying slaughter.
You aren't really helping your argument when your only recourse after being proven wrong is to start to bitch and moan about racism.

I'm talking about skin colour, not ethnicity. If you want to talk about ethnicity, then "Caucasian" is a more suitable term to describe white Westerners.

Non sequitur is a logical fallacy. If A being true automatically makes B true (i.e. "I am a human thus I am a mammal"), then you cannot assert that A is true because B is true (i.e. "I am a mammal, thus I am a human") - that's non sequitur.

Also, you are generalising white people as people who all want to destroy Japan. Who's the racist now?

Except they have and continue to.

Yeah, that's still wrong. Their skin colour isn't white, more like ranging from tanned to yellow-ish pale.

I'm explaining the law. Wearing face concealing clothing is not permitted without a "recognizable purpose" which does not encompass religion.

I don't understand how wearing a burqa is not a recognizable purpose. Everyone who sees a woman wearing a burqa knows it is for her religion. Maybe I'm missing something legalistic, but religion should surely be a recognizable purpose. Once again, religious freedom is a fundamental natural right. Any civilized society should protect it.

You're still generalising white people. I am Caucasian myself, and for example I do not support the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (pls don't start a debate about this here). Also, Japanese people have committed war crimes

Read the links, like I did with yours.

Edit: And don't completely generalise that all white people support these acts just because the perpetrators were Caucasian.

Well, that's rather strange because it and the eager westernisation that followed were the main reasons Japan wasn't made our bitch at the time like China and the rest of Asia. I would think you would support it more, doubly so if you view your emperor as predominant to your national identity.

I am not going to debate this with you in a thread about burqa ban in other side of the world. Yes, I may have started the thread-jack, and for that I apologise. But we must stop.

Ok, I'll stop. However, the burqa does not magically amplify the power of suicide vests, serve as a 100% correct indicator that a Muslim woman supports ISIS, or be in any way synonymous with terrorism.

A good lot of Europe has already banned the Burqa, IIRC. It's a wise move, tbh.

Meiji introduced Prussianist institutions (state bureaucracy, taxation system) which helped prop up the zaibatsu robber barons. It was much better under semiautonomous self-governing village.

Just ban motorcycle helmets and the rest everywhere, not just in Denmark.

How does banning an item of clothing reduce Islamist terror attacks and support for Islamism?

It doesn't. It's a symbolic move of rejection of fundamentalist Islam and that already is good enough.

Therefore, burqa bans violate international rules on religious freedom.
