So weaving that same special FOXNews Magic that made palm trees grow in Wisconsin, TNN tried to imply the Eagles snubbing a White House visit was the God-Emperor rightfully disinviting a bunch of unpatriotic kneeling niggers.

I don't think so, since it's no longer the European Coal and Steel Community and is now a different organization with a different goal.

This makes plain that what Trump really wants is not patriotism but submission -- mere good works and even plain facts will not sate him; only total abasement and obeisance to the God-Emperor will.

To be fair to Fox, though, it (through Chris Wallace) issued a two-parter apology on Twitter, begging pardon for the mischaracterization of praying Eagles in its news segment hours earlier. Still no word on whether such an apology will be broadcast on live TV, but that's a thing.

No word on whether Trump will ever apologize for his own distortions.

Maybe that shows that if Trumps priority was China (and if he had half a brain), he could work with the EU to pressurise China. Instead he's passed pretty blunt tariffs and pissed everybody off and showed he doesn't know what he's doing.

Maybe that shows that if Trumps priority was China (and if he had half a brain), he could work with the EU to pressurise China. Instead he's passed pretty blunt tariffs and pissed everybody off and showed he doesn't know what he's doing.

Except that ignores the fact China is the priority and he's got exactly what he needed from the EU by doing this; they're taking the Chinese to the WTO for dumping as well and about to enact their own tariffs on Beijing. Trump handled this with absolute perfection.
