Nah, a bunch of people from Ford and GM likely said "do this and you'll be saving American jobs" because Lincoln is losing money hand over fist and Cadillac is only alive thanks to it's massive presence in China. Either way, this won't change the situation as Americans will just by cars from Lexus instead. Toyota will be salivating at the chance to finally dominate one of the most lucrative markets for luxury vehicles outside of Asia.

Uxupox wrote:shit cars tbh with among the lowest of reviews but he shouldn't "ban" those luxury cars because they are hogwash.

japanese cars and american trucks are the top notch vehicles in the market at the moment.

I haven't seen anything to indicate that Europeans cars have negative perceptions in the United States given that they have more brand appeal and are generally superior products to anything the Big Two (Chrysler doesn't matter anymore) are offering. The problem is that both American luxury brands don't have the same currency and value or appeal in the eyes of American consumers. Ford is actually attempting to turn this around by offering competitive products in the new Continental and Navigator and GM is likely reverting back to it's old ways by getting the government to make American cars competitive by getting rid of the competition. Although at least the Cadillacs of today aren't considered to be trashy and terrible as they were even fifteen years ago.

No, see, 'grab her by the pussy' was just locker room talk. 'She was bleeding from her wherever', 'she looks like a pig', 'go look at her sex tape', 'those women were too ugly for me to harass', are all just jokes. So see, actually, Trump having such a great sense of humor about women proves how much he respects them!

Liberals making jokes about the women who actively enable Trump and his Administration however is just proof of how sexist they really are. It's one thing to call a woman a fat disgusting pig, something else entirely to accuse them of being tone deaf and incompetent!

Not really. Neither of them are in the luxury market and FCA isn't well placed to develop and design a luxury vehicle. FCA is already restructuring itself, it's why Chrysler ditched the terrible Sebring and not-as-terrible 200, because they were losing money from them. Chrysler at least is focusing on RAM and Jeep as the products keeping American operations in business and Fiat is happy manufacturing inexpensive mass market cars across the world. Attempting to enter the luxury market would pose a couple of problems, chief among which is that Chrysler hasn't made a luxury car since the 90's and Fiat's only brand with any luxury credentials, Lancia, for all intents and purposes, no longer exists as it's not sold outside of Italy and would be subject to a potential ban.

It's not government overreach when Republicans do it.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

American Right Wing thought is converging with that of the rest of the world on economics; it's an underrated aspect of the Trump Presidency. Goldwater and Reagan turned the GOP into a Neo-Liberal Party and now the Trumpist types are turning it into a populist one.

Brought to you by the same people who claimed the Korean free trade agreement would create 70,000 Jobs (Cost 60,000) and that free trade with Mexico would create 200,000 jobs (Cost 600,000).

On another note, positioning the GOP as Protectionist and getting the Dems to go Free Trade basically just secured the Midwest for the GOP; probably hurts them further on the coasts in a trade off though, but that was already happening regardless.
