Maybe they should just do that: dump the US debt onto the open market. They would blow up their own economy but they could buy into the Euro and if the Europeans could invest in China, this might cancel things out a bit.

For one, that wouldn't do anything to the U.S. as U.S. Treasuries are a hot commodity that everyone wants for their stability and rate of return. It would, however, destroy China utterly and no, they could not use it to buy Euros given that but also because the USD is the world reserve currency.

Maybe it's time for both Europe and China to give up on the U.S. There is a time that we should no longer allow ourselves and America to, frankly, to continue this downright abusive (from their end to us) marriage. It's time to leave NATO. They've betrayed us anyway so we might just as well get it over with.

So I see you have utterly no idea what you're talking about. When you get a chance, do go look up who the main trading partner is for both Germany and China. Then go look up what % of their GDP comes from exports. Quite frankly, both the EU and China can be broken in half by the U.S. with no sweat and it's only by our good graces we allow you to exist; so abusive indeed. Also, do go look up NATO funding per members when you get a chance because I think you'll learn who the parasites in the relationship is.

Having seen how the Americans have treated Europe over the last 20 years, I think one should have ENOUGH reasons to doubt that premise. But, indeed, the best solution would be to give both China, Russia and, particularly, the U.S the middle finger and invest in ourselves instead.

If Montenegro attacked Serbia, it wouldn't be our problem. Montenegro really is the mountain people meme throughout history. They are aggressive and clannish. He just missed the point of defense. That being said, they contribute nothing, it's a small country with no value. Really they shouldn't be in NATO.
