Good on Belarus. The UK's decision to hoist an LGBT flag was outrageous from Belarus' perspective and embarrassing on the UK's behalf. Chances are the UK's flag doesn't even get displayed on the average day because that's simply too offensive.

Also, as a proudly lgbt person, it’s nice to see allies and lgbt standing for each other here! As well as forming actual discussions given the subject matter, which, on that, I’m not quite sure the line of reasoning the Belarusian leader can hold without trying to make half-assed excuses so as to still exclude only the lgbt people, or have to adapt to condemn literally everyone in the country not procreating and in a relationship.

The embassy has a right to display the flag and the government has a right to criticize it but does not have the right to go on tirade about LGBT people.

I'd say Dominions rather than 'off-brand Russians', as The Russian Federation is just an imperial state with most of the soviet satellites becoming dominons of Russia..... People are people are people..... I thought it was 2018 and I didn't hear anyone say that you have to have a same sex relationship or even speak to someone who is or would like to have one, so if you object to this type of relationship then just don't have one. But how would an official of the Belarussian government feel if their own child was gay and had to live a lie or put themselves in danger. Or if your child was in a loveless relationship with someone in denial who can't say their gay. Why the government would even need to mention this is beyond me... move on Belarus!!
