Did I say that where I live was the center of the state at all, because I don't think I did? They don't need to use all of it to the big cities, because they are basically self-sustaining anyway, they should be sing the money to actually help other communities who actually need help. Let Philly and Pittsburgh use their own money to deal with their own problems, they've got enough people already, so they should handle it.

And neither do you about me and my neighborhood.

They dont use all of it. You might not say your the center of the state but you act like it.

Do you have this notion that Philadelphia magically has all this money to pay for its subway, commuter rail, infrastructure, police equipment and numerous other things and instead chooses to mooch off the state government?

No I don't, I feel shafted, forgotten, oppressed and left out, does that seriously sound like center of the state strawman logic like you think it is?

Yes, I assume they get quite a lot from sales tax considering how overpriced everything is.

Have you considered moving to a city

Like it's that fucking easy to just move from one area to another. And no, I'm not moving to an area where a lot of people would kill me because of my stances and what I believe in.

lol

Where do you think I live, exactly? Beverly Hills?

Somewhere lacking in empathy, I'd imagine.

We don't need to. 150,000 votes means we win the electoral college. Perhaps you would like to look into what political demographics are growing and which are shrinking and at what speed? :)

Yeah, shame. But I don't care. I'm not a Congressman.

But I guess you would be down for a one-party state.

idk I mean rural dwellers the world over have been doing it for centuries, in the last couple practically in droves.
What you believe in? Idk, do you believe in something illegal and involves shooting at cops? They're well funded here, maybe they will kill you if you believe that sort of thing. In any case, rural mortality rates are greater than urban, so I'd say you're a little off the mark.

You're still gonna be waiting a couple decades tbh, and it'll still probably swing back and forth for a while longer. Georgia and a couple other southern states are more likely imo, as well as Arizona.

Yeah.

Kinda hard to compete with importing voters.

That is not what I fucking mean and you know it. Why should I move from one area to a region that is completely foreign to me with people who oppose me with almost everything I believe in?

Work. Healthcare. Education. Proximity to pizza delivery services. I mean, I could pretty much go on. Why do you think rural flight is a phenomenon in the first place?
"with people who oppose me"
what about you do they oppose, exactly? With what weapons will they oppose it, and with what means will they conceal the act from the authorities?

Without a good degree of federalisation, which in this case necessarily means giving rural areas disproportionate powers, the US could not exist.

Your assumptions about urban areas and lack of knowledge is startling. Have you even spent any time in Philadelphia or other urban center and gotten to know anyone there? Somehow even with their sales tax there isn’t enough money for everything they need to spend money on. Running a city is not as simple as running your little town

And like your assumptions about rural areas is any better? Oh but you've actually been there and have family, congratulations, do you want a fucking cookie?!

Is all you can do is shaft and make fun of rural and suburban areas as "little towns"?

Fuck, what's up with all the condescension to rural dwellers in this thread?

It's what happens when you've never experienced a personal struggle in life, so you think everyone's got it good and fine and nothing could ever possibly be wrong despite people telling you otherwise.

You have a huge tendency to talk down to people that disagree with you or your preconceived notions of the world to the point of saying they live in fantasy worlds.
