Fun fact: Beckham and Kane went to the same school, there's a nice photo of an 11 year old Kane with Beckham..

..anyway here we go..

Frankly, I'm rooting for both sides.

I fear Ashley Young is indeed a liability.. I don't know if I like this set up.. Sweden are going straight banks of 4-4-2, they'll be hard to break down..

4-4-2 is a strong, strong formation.

Don't like this at all.. if Sweden start to get confidence in attack then England could be in trouble, I'm not going to comment anymore...

A tiny sliver of sympathy for England...

... this feels so weird.

I think I'm going to go see a doctor.

MAGUIREEEEE

Also, Is it just me or is England's playing rather predictable here? Really hope they widen their lead.

They're slow and trying to be too methodical, 2-3 chances where they could have taken longer range shots..

All those missed chances irritate me. They were so close.

What started as a joke bet will leave me closer to being almost 1000 richer at the final. All my hopes rest on England to win now, please don't disappoint.

Sweden couldn't put together an effective attack even if their lives depend on it

the power of James Bond will prevail

I mean, Sweden had some chances... But England is just more confident in their attacking.
As I say that now...

England has realised that it is awful at football, so it decided to play headbonk instead.

Cue winning.
