Please tell me you're taking the piss. Freedom of expression is far more important than risk-aversion and some corporate tools brand image.

Considering I was stopped by campus security at my uni for wearing a blue bandana while working outside and again when at the gym, Yet my leather jacket, cowboy hat, skull mask, and battle jacket were all allowed. Yes. Many places ban wearing headbands, bandanas, and the like because of gangs. And a lot of these gangs take this shit seriously.

I mean, wouldn't more people wearing bandannas and ninja headbands help reclaim it from the gang association? The more people enforce rules like this, the more we pigeonhole bandannas and the like into the gang stereotype and the less likely we can do something about it. Policies like this only feed the problem and restrict freedom of expression.

Not to mention that we shouldn't be playing to peoples insecurity. If everybody did that then all it will do is make people more nervous, not less.

A reminder that 41 is ancient in NBA years. That kid he dished to wasn't even born yet when he started out.

Most people don’t put the amount of stress on their bodies that professional sports require. That’s why being 41 in the NBA is impressive, even if it may be “young” in today’s day and age for developed countries.

The only thing about NBA that is actually interesting is its relationship with China and Hong Kong.

I'd rather not get into that here. It's why I posted the whole debacle in the Hong Kong thread instead of in here.

I don't normally enjoy or comment on sports, but I just wanted to pop in to say that the NBA are cowards for bowing to China and they should be ashamed of themselves. Fight for freedom. Stand with Hong Kong.

Siakim looks very good. If Lowry plays well, the Raptors could secure a playoff spot. VanVleet could be the X factor for them too. I’ve been counting the Raptors out, and I know it’s silly to make predictions based on one game, but they might prove me wrong.

Raps will still be competitive, but I don't think they can win a title this year. At least they got one last year.

I don't think anyone but the Bucks and 76ers will be competitive from the East. It'll still be interesting to see who makes the playoffs though.

The West is just too overpowered.

It's bloated, but the top two teams in the East should be able to compete with any of the teams from the West.

I see the Bucks having their opportunity and snagging the East, especially with the Raptors out of their way.
