What happened? I haven't been watching since the Pels got knocked out.

Yesterday was August 24th. 8/24. And suspiciously, the Lakers went on a run ending with the score at 24-8.

In other words, it was some staged bullshit. I bet Silver told the Portland higher-ups to let it happen.

I will not. This whole thing reeks of being a bigger fix than the Tuck Rule game.

The Blazers got their heads kicked in. Every game post Game 1 was rightfully won by the Lakers.

So you're really gonna sit there and say the Lakers scoring 24-8 on 8/24 was just a coincidence?

So the Bucks just refused to play game 5 in protest of some police shooting.

Then the NBA suspended all of today's games.

Yeah, not happy about this at all. We just got sports back, and now it's postponed again.

I'm hoping Adam Silver breaks and rigs it for the Magic. Let me bask in the salt forever.

He should give it to the Magic. Milwaukee refused to play. If you ask me, that's a forfeit.

Magic agreed to refuse as well once they learned what Millwauake was doing. Only that cooky preacher would be playing.

Why would you even do that? They could have forced the issue, play or forfeit.

Shocking Revelation: Some things are more important than sports.

You have a contract to play, you play or you don't get the rewards of playing. If you want to make a protest that's fine but you should still receive the consequences of your actions.

Well, that little walkout strike didn't last long. Game's resume on Saturday.

More sad news on the day the Blazers are eliminated from the Playoffs: Former Blazer Clifford Robinson died at 53. I had no idea he was in poor health.

For those who don't remember the 1990s, Robinson was on the team that went to the 1992 NBA Finals. He also played out of position at center quite a bit after the Blazers traded the also-late Kevin Duckworth and also due to Chris Dudley's injuries.

You mean besides Harden being a complete foul whore, basically making travelling legal with his stupid step-back and consistently choking in the playoffs?

If people insist on fouling him it's not his fault. Harden posted over 30 points in this game so I don't think it's him that's choking, I think it's our other choker-in-chief (Westbrook.)

Insist on fouling him. You so much as brush up against the guy and he goes crying to the refs for a foul. He's a complete bitch boy.

It's about the letter of the law, not its spirit. He maximises what he can do for his team and I respect him for that.

You respect him for being a flop artist who can't get the job done in the playoffs?

Even Lebron wasn't as bad as Harden with the foul shit.
