In ignorance I'm more under-informed than dumb -- there's at least a 50% chance I won't know who you're talking about if you give me a random name of a movie star or famous sports player, and I haven't fully read many materials considered essential to the political philosophy I follow. Case in point, The Ego and Its Own, which I haven't actually read despite considering myself somewhat of an egoist. Instead, I tend to just absorb information about politics from listening to others who know what they're talking about, which I'd say makes me fairly ignorant, if not egregiously so. You'd definitely notice it if I tried to insert non-meme feedback when people are talking about something I don't understand.

I don't like speculating on the future. It is better, IMO, to focus on what we should be doing now. Our descendants will hopefully take care of the future.

Option 3: our attentions should be dedicated solely to our people. We should operate internationally only through diplomacy unless directly attacked. The real revolution is the friends we make on the way.
