Look, I'm going through that therapy too, but I must ask you. How? So many branches of leftists does it take to attain unity? We have too little, or too many. I dunno.

It depends on your definition of "pretty".

I guess I don't see much of it. As on most message boards, the discussions which seem to drag on the longest are those which are the most aggressive and, honestly, nasty.

Aillyria would be Claudius. Temper + unwillingness to suffer fools + supporter of the P E O P L E + traditional legalist

Well you aren't a real socialist. Just a sociopath disguised as one.
Not to mention that this thread split off from LWDT, so I assumed you would think this thread was a "revisionist hellhole".

One of the major sources of contention is between Marxist-Leninists, on the one hand, and libertarian socialists (including anarchists like you and Marxists like me), on the other.

lol. Well, I try to be tolerant, especially since I used to be kind of a Marxist-Leninist (a Titoist and then a Trotskyist).
However, to give you one example, one Marxist-Leninist recently referred to me as “a Marxist of a sort.”

We've got people like you, who are anarcho-leftists. We've also got the SPD'ers, like me, the communists, the neoleftists, and the socialists. We don't have that much unity.

I sympathize with libertarian socialists and often side with them despite being a social democrat, so that could be considered unity. Anarchism often seems motivated by good intentions to me, and I can unite far better with those who seem to at least want good and those who are obviously just sowing discord or hate people unlike them. Then again, they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, so maybe I should rethink that.

I find myself wondering whether I’m Marxist Leninist or libertarian, largely because
1. I believe that the state is a necessary institution
2. I believe that revolution is a bad idea
3. I believe in democratic controlled means of production
4. I find social justice a lie.

I've been called a “Marxist” a couple of times, though a “liberal” more often. It's pretty amusing because I'm solidly on the right.

I realize it could be a limitation on my part, but how can social justice be a lie? What is the alternative? Social injustice? The key is not to abandon social justice projects but to ground them in Marxist theory.

When I say social justice, I mean it as defined by the American Progressive Left.

I honestly doubt that type of right-wingers would be powerful enough in most European countries to successfully pull off pogroms at a large scale. In some areas of eastern Europe maybe, but even there they're usually smaller than the centre-left and -right.
