Anecdotally, I can confirm Thermodolia's statement. Girl Scouts do far less camping. It's one of the major reasons why girls wanted to be part of Boy Scouts.

You do realize cub scouts are organized into more than one baby animal group, yes?

Personally, I think it is ridiculous. There is no stopping point for the hyper-liberal agenda and eventually it will ruin the Girl Scouts too. Does nobody remember that the Venture Scouts are co-ed? What about the list of other groups that are co-ed and do the same activities, if not more? I can't parse out this timeline, tbf. My guess is that they planned to make it co-ed, then planned to do this as well when they figured out that that means that girls will be joining, but I'm not sure when this will happen or even if it already has.
