It's not even widely known in Poland.

Edgy.

For a more serious response, try hauling stuff for a DIY project, like a homemade shed, by bus.

But the fact that a Chevrolet Master won it and placed on the podium multiple times, I should be all over that...

Because I'd have to drive to the nearest bus stop or train station, you NUMTOT, so I might as well keep driving. Rural and some suburban areas don't have reliable access to public transport.

That being said, it is silly to pick one over the other cars, buses, and trains can coexist.

Canceling Plymouth was a mistake, but I think FCA wants to use Alfa and Maserati for the luxury segment and make Chrysler the new plymouth. Ricardo Montalbán is rolling in his grave, but at least his coffin was available in soft Corinthian leather.

Some people just throw the [[ ]] around any name they see without bothering to check if there's already a page and if so if it's the right one.

Since the rest are links to non-articles I think this is exactly what happened.

I really like the idea of a pick up as a second vehicle, but I don't want a truck, I want it to be a car.

What do, wait 25 years to important a ute from a land down under or get a Jetta or a Dodge Charger and send it to this?

Or just suck it up and truck it up?

A bit older than I would like, last El Camino was 1987 model and the last Ranchero was 1979 model year. Still the effort restomoding them could be spent just converting a Charger into one.

Utes are rare in my corner of the world.

Suck it up and truck up. The newer the truck, the more like a car it feels anyway... well, a traditional RWD BOF car with a live rear axle. Which is exactly what you'll get with a ute.

After sitting inside an XTS and a ATS at a used dealer lot, I found them to be actually underwhelming - maybe not to drive, but certainly in how you feel inside. Far too tight with too little head and hip room, dominated by giant consoles and windshields far too close to your face. The Chrysler 300 was the closest to feeling spacious. Trucks, meanwhile, were much more impressive.... a little too much, if anything, as the consoles in non-bench models felt ridiculously wide. I may very well get a CPO/used truck or SUV instead of a car. Problem for me is that Ford seems to make the most competent ones. Either way, give a new-ish truck a try, it will likely surprise you.

Speaking of, the reason I was at car lots was my girlfriend is looking for a new(er) car. Her family is far more endowed than mine, and they're insisting she get something newer and safer than her Saturn and are willing to pay dearly for such. She has, to my chagrin, gravitated to getting a new Prius. I'm not so concerned with the practical or economic issues, it seems to be a competent enough car and a fair-ish deal; but the *other* implications of driving a Prius would be such I would never really feel comfortable with driving it for her. Same as with my mom's Forester.

My sister wrecked her car and might get a 2004 Jeep Liberty.

Now that I think about I could just call up U-haul if I were to need a truck, or befriend someone. Or If I had to get a pickup, I'd just get a Ford Ranger (one with the Cologne V6 not the vulcan V6) or the Chevy S10/GMC Sonoma or Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon sets of twins. The small ones, since I think the full sizers are a bit big.

Vans are useful too, and I like them better than pickup trucks, for some reason.
