I found How to Drive ("Chapter 1: How Not to Drive" ) by Ben Collins a.k.a. The Stig to be somewhat enlightening for a relative n00b.
Free all markets!
(Capitalism is not a free market. Capitalism is when the state intervenes in favor of a particular player. Where capitalism reigns, the people are barely more free than they are under communism. Only the degree of self-righteousness and self-deception changes.)

Adrian Newey apparently wrote a book called "How to Build a Car"...which...Adrian Newey. Kind of want to read that.

Just looking for opinions, both my parents own Hyundai's. Thoughts on them in general?

I have driven some of the newer models, mainly thr Sonata, and I find it quite nice, an improvement on their early 2000s models which I heard were utter garbage.

Cheap car makers who recently got on par with Toyota and Lexus. The early 2010s Sonata looked nice, but they ruined the design. The Kia Stinger is interesting though, if it matters.

Car show down the block from my house today. I'd share my instagram but, you know...reasons. Lot of cool cars. Some from Fast & Furious because I lives in 'ollywoooooood...well, Burbank, which is where everything is actually made, nothing is actually in Hollywood. Tons of Beetles, a Pinto dressed up as a disco ball. Fiat Topolino drag car. The usual. A Pantera. Highlight was a batwinged Boattail Bentley. Chick was hitting on my neighbor and he didn't notice.

There are much better cars - Swift, Yaris, Mini (R50), VAG subcompacts (minus Fox) or Twingo.

Well right now I'm going through here with a £10K budget.

Ideally low insurance group - I'm a new driver with 0 years no claims.

I've established to myself that an Up!-sized car will handle most of my haulage needs but slightly bigger bootspace wouldn't go amiss.

Finally returned from a trip to Tokyo. Found myself a lovely hotel in Ginza, and man was I in for a treat.

Dozens of Masteratis, various Ferraris both front engine and mid, Lamborghinis both Aventador to Gallardo, a couple of Corvettes, more than a few new Mercedes Maybachs, G-classes galore, and one Hyundai.

Nice to know that whoever imported that Azera has a car rarer than Ferrari in this country.
Eternally salty, quite tired, and perhaps looking for a brighter future.

I got a new toy car, this one is a 2017 blue Honda Civic Hatchback, I get a kick out of that, it's some regular car in toy form when most are sports cars or race cars.
