Saw a diesel VW on the highway earlier.

Its license plate was "B4SCNDL". I laughed.

Took me a while, but here it is. 40+ mpg. Pretty damn happy with my Corolla. Managed to exceed the EPA estimate by about 4 mpg.

It's been a hot minute since I've been on this thread.
The family fleet status is as follows:
'07 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner double cab: sold to cousin of family friend, had power steering leak and we didn't really need a truck anymore.
'03 Toyota Sienna LE: sold after languishing in the garage for four years with a blown head gasket and oil sludge issues my dad never fixed. F.
'13 Scion xB: still running strong at 80k miles, some issues with randomly squeaking rear brakes and it's lost another hubcap.
And we've replaced the truck and the van by buying my aunt's '03 GMC Envoy SLE. Great SUV, aside from GM's typical North Korean interior quality. Quiet, smooth, cushy seats, floaty ride, and it's been babied from the day she got it. My dad replaced some suspension bits and the entirety of the stereo system, and it's been an excellent family/stuff hauler and road-trip beast. After getting stuffed in the back of the Scion for the past few years, it feels like a Learjet.

Malaise Landyacht.

I see a Lincoln Continental Mark IV with some Cadillac Fleetwood elements, and maybe even a bit of Chrysler New Yorker Brougham in there.

Yeah, but most of them probably aren't to scratch for F1. Maybe Laguna Seca.

Literally the only American tracks rated as Grade 1 (and therefore eligible to host F1) are CotA and Indy.

Which is probably due to some bullshit criteria like media facilities, seeing as how Monaco is a Grade 1 track even though everyone concurs that the only reason it still hosts F1 is because it's basically grandfathered in.

Laguna Seca was resurfaced for FIA standards. I always feel like it's too short but I guess it wouldn't be the shortest F1 track. I don't think the facilities can handle the circus coming to town, though.
