For a minute I thought this was a modern update of the old Toyota Supra, but then I saw the Bugatti badges, and oh my God I fell in love all over again for Bugatti.

The EB110 never quite got the hype that the Veyron did. The power of the Volkswagen Group...

Because it is a debate forum not a group chat.
So the protocol is different.

The purpose is more to discuss. Try some longer, more detailed posts like post a picture of a Corvette and then say something like “I like the Corvette because it offers the best value and best performance for the price and is easy to modify and maintain.”

That way others can agree or disagree and elaborate on what you said.

This car thread is less so than some other threads, but in many you are expected to back your claims with sources and detailed arguments.

And fully sentences, not just one word responses.

All of the hypercars of the 90s got dwarfed by the F1. After that bonkersmobile nothing else really mattered.

Yeah but this thing did come close any of yinns play forza horizon 1 got the car and did a veyron swap on it it is beautiful

I get more excited over beaters I can afford, mostly because I can afford, but even so, AMG-Mercedes appeals to me and they can be quite pricey too. Don't know why Ferrari and Lamborghini are so meh to me now.

In other news...

According to the family (in that I don't have records to prove it, aside from some parts), my grandfather was the first one to sell Rovers (including Land Rovers) in the Western US. (that part is confirmed, his dealership is a bit of the talk of series Land Rover fans). He was also the first to wedge a V8 in the old series Land Rovers, something Land Rover took an interest in. (family. Not confirmed).

Me and my brother have been looking for one of my Grandpa's converted Land Rovers and I may have just found one in Tuscon. We know that the truck (a series II 88) came from California and that the swap was done by a professional shop years and years ago. We don't know if it originated in California yet. If it did, it's one of Grandpa's Land Rovers.

The next question is whether or not my brother can find room to buy it since he's the only one of us who can do that kind of thing. Chances are slim, but it would be nice to make a connection with one of them. I have a friend in Arizona, maybe I'll make a trip out there to see it.

Talk about what great condition it is in and how little needs to be done to turn it from a heap of rust to a show car but using as little detail as possible .

I'm in the same boat. One of my favorite motoring moments was when I was working for the Speed Channel (back when that was a thing) at the Monterey Historics and a group of us were surrounding a car. Behind us Ferraris and other high priced exotics were tooling by, we could hear their distinct exhaust notes, none of us turned to even look. We were too fixated on this little blue $15k car in front of us, an Alpine A110 (no longer available that cheap, thanks crazy classic car market).

I said before, super cars are show ponies, not good at either job. They're too delicate to drive on roads and too compromised to really be good track cars. They're the trophy wives of the car world. You show them off, you don't use them.

Thinking about the new Corvette and the idea that this one, finally, will be the mid engine Corvette AND given how hard fixed headlights were for them to get over, I wonder if Dodge is dropping the ball with the decision to not bring the Viper back. This might be the Viper's moment for those who want the traditional lay out in their American sports car. I mean, probably not. I'm sure someone at Dodge did a bunch of math and went, 'nah.'
