I rather much have a Mercury Marauder or a Chrysler 300 SRT8, or Buick Roadmaster LT1 if I had to have a 90s GM B-body.

My personal favorite...Well I have to separate my two favorites based on type:

My favorite everyday/practical car is the Toyota 4Runner or the Rav4. I have had the opportunity to drive both and they handle very well. The former is great for it's carry capacity/some ability to handle rougher roads whereas the latter is just fun to drive.

Now my favorite impractical/dream car would have to be the 1932 ford Roadster. They are beautiful vehicles and perform well when properly maintained.

Honda made the Accord. The Ford Camry is a real rarity. It was only produced for the 1993 model year and only about 10,000 were manufactured before they were forced to cease production.

Oh right, I was thinking of the Honda Neon.

Also don't forget about the Chevrolet Corolla. It was attempt by GM to capture compact car market and to compete with imports.

None of those are a particularly good value now, and are all completely impractical and impossible to drive daily. I daily drive a 94' Town Car - yes, a panther body - and it is far from meh but also a competent daily driver. If you were going for a large American car that you didn't need to daily, a late 60s/very early 70s GM or FoMoCo premium/luxury model is a better bet anyway.

Unrelated, but if any of you are familiar with the game/sim Automation, Petrolheadia is judging a competition to make a 1968 fullsize sedan and encouraged me to enter. This is what I created, given the game's limited capabilities:

I've made my own benchmark entry, the 1968 Gavril Bluebuck, based on the same-year Chevrolet Impala and Ford Galaxie. The enrolled one has a 194 net HP 2-bbl 291 ci V8, 3-spd Turbo-Matic transmission, radial tires, all-wheel disc brakes and sway bars, and a vinyl roof.

Also, does anyone have ideas for the themes of further competitions?
I have four ideas - '67 supercars, '88 offroaders, '04 minivans, '20 luxury crossovers.

I ran across one of these in college for $8,000. At the time I had $8,000 that I was supposed to be using for my education...which I did. But I thought long an hard about getting this instead. Of course someone had dropped a Corvette engine in the one I found, but swapping the Maserati engine back in would not have been a $100,000 operation. I could have actually paid back my student debt with that car it seems...

Prank Frank

Craigslist ad popped up for a 1977 Wienermobile for $8,500. Except it doesn't picture a 1977 Wienermobile.

Though the idea of turning a wienermobile into a camper intrigues me. I'd probably be done with the idea after the first trip, though.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.
