At least Toyota made a separate design.

When the handbrake works, I can do it. Last lesson the handbrake was being iffy and wouldn't hold the car at one point. If I hadn't been under dual control then there would've been a problem.
When my dad was teaching me to drive in our (standard) VW Bug, anytime I reached for the handbrake on a hill stop he would simply slap my hand. I quickly learned how to start up without it.

That thing is so fucked up you couldn't even use it for parts. $9,500? Old mate's dreaming.

It's a scrapyard that apparently is making a business out of selling VIN plates, because they have a ton of cars...'cars'...like this on Craigslist. Like this (look at all those dead Porsches in the background...) or this one. They also inexplicably have this rare French GT.

That Vega looks in good shape but what do they do with the rest, just hope somebody unscrupulous has a written-off but fixable car and wants to do a shady with the VIN plates I presume?

Well this article ain't subtle. I never understood the fanatical, inordinate hatred towards SUVs and all things raised. Admittedly they're not my thing either but some people care way too much about what other people want to drive.

Hyundai has shown off a small model of a car it says can activate robotic legs to walk at 3mph (5km/h) over rough terrain.
Also able to climb a 5ft (1.5m) wall and jump a 5ft gap, the Hyundai Elevate could be useful for emergency rescues following natural disasters, it said.
It was part of a project exploring "beyond the range of wheels", it added.
The concept has been in development for three years and was unveiled at the CES technology fair in Las Vegas.

Do not think that way.
Worse case scenario just take it again.
Stressing it and is the best way to fail. No need to over prepare.
Just drive when you can (with someone who is allowed to supervise you) until then.
Good driving is in many ways more an art than science. It is about feeling the car as an extension of you more than just following rules. If you walk to the store you do not think about each step.
Obviously you still have to know, and (usually) follow the rules, especially on the tests (there are cases where breaking rules is necessary for safety but such situations should not happen during the test). But really just make the car do what you want it to do.
Do not think of it like one of those tests were you just memorize a bunch of garbage only to forget it after the test.
Think of it like if someone is testing you on walking to the store safely.
You are already ready, sure more practice is good, but you can do it.

I mean I've been at this for a year, and starting on Monday I'll be taking lessons daily. My instructor doesn't see any reason why I won't be ready in time.
