Which Decade Produced the best Music?

Postby Inchland » Wed Jun 24, 2009 6:39 am

Its something i was always unsure of, Music generally became interesting in the 60's and has(i think) continued to be interesting into the present day. For me it is between the 80's and the last 8/9 years, what does everyone else think?

1970's - definetly. Why? Progressive rock, jazz fusion, hard rock, experimental music, funk, disco... These genres were simply best.

Depends on the genre. The 90s were great for metal and rap/hip-hop, rubbish for everybody else.

I know some 90's punk. But I think they were actually 90s punk. They're not big name bands though.
