I told her that she makes the Mona Lisa look like a Polaroid of monkey shit. There's something wrong with me.

It's an odd compliment but you pretty much told her she is a better masterpiece than the famous Mona Lisa. ^_^

*cues Nat King Cole*

Truly. I myself am partial to the Frim-Fram Sauce, especially Diana Krall's version.

The song is great. Of course, how can you not like Diana Krall? I mean, her duets with Tony Bennett alone are worth a listen let alone her actual normal discography. She is simply divine.

She is, absolutely. Shame she's married to

Honestly, dating someone who is very independent is good for you. It may teach you to become more independent too. Which is a good thing. A partner is nice, and I know I love mine, but one should be able to also exist independently of them. It's healthy. ;)

See, I would love someone who says something like that to me. It is a somewhat strange compliment, but a compliment nonetheless.

Sometimes love is so blind even Steve Wonder can see just how blind it is.

Thank you. But I'm at that stage of coping with that she doesn't like me back.

I'm singing Peter Cetera "Next Time I Fall In Love" at the top of my longs, and I want to get into my cups, but if I plaster away the pain tonight I'll sleep too late tomorrow and it will hose me on Monday.

In loooove, woooo-ooh oooh ooh oh ooh! Next time I fall....in love....next time I fall in love, it will be with another bottle of wine.

May your kindness come back to you Nth fold with really cool shit.

I did it to myself. I had love once and didn't properly care for it and it went away. This time its just not there.

And I'm getting old. Beard is gray. All my television shows have been remade as something else, the films I like are antiquated garbage to this new generation.

On the other hand, I'm not in a place with air-dropped ordinance blowing people's limbs off and whatknot, so I guess I better keep it in perspective.

Every year is 90% crap. Most music from the 60s sucked, but we only know about the great stuff because the garbage left our memory.

"With aluminum foil"
It's aluminium, but sure, okay.
Fine, there's some good stuff out there that makes me choke on my sandwich as I don't expect aluminium to appear.

For every three Taylor Swift songs there’s a “Helplessness Blues” by Fleet Foxes. You gotta look for the good stuff.

It is a much better song than, say, Havana or whatever's popular right now.
