Valentine Z wrote:I had a... very odd one, to say the least. Dreams are odd, we established that, but this is damn creepy.

Booted up Overwatch to play, but this time, seems like I somehow had connection to character I was playing. Map looked like one of those decontamination chambers, the one with all the aluminium foils all over the place. The map's pretty small, nowhere does it appear in actual Overwatch, so on.

I was a Bastion fighting off this demonic Sombra (AI; it was NOT a human player). Even if my DPS outruns her and she couldn't hack me, she would somehow still jump up on me and killed me near instantly. The creepy twist is, by the time my health reached zero, I couldn't see the Killcam, it won't let me see the Bastion getting dismantled (i.e. his death animation); the game would froze at that frame while increasing the volume to 200 (obviously uptick from Windows' 100 limit). This went on for several 1v1 with her until, somehow, she just disappeared. There was no one else.

I moved around to one of the doors, which opened and lead to a small walkway. On a wall was this bluish-girl (like Cortana from Halo, but not holographic) tied up by some sort of biomass (I suspect it was Flood), whose face was all messed up, and everytime I approached "her/it", it screamed and convulsed violently.

Then I woke up. I have no idea what I ate. I was in my university dorm, so I sure as hell didn't drink anything; and I was away from Overwatch for like a good few days when that dream happened.

TL;DR: Overwatch got horrifying (not exactly demonic), I felt like I was in it being killed. It also felt like sleep paralysis.

If you find a way to beat the Sombra AI, I wonder if that frees the blue girl, and she tells you something.

I didn't beat her; just that... she disappeared. She didn't Translocate / Teleport. Poof! The blue girl was beyond recovery, I think; her face looked like it got into a blender.

On that note, I have a lot of sleep paralysis in my Uni dorm, compared to my home. Maybe my room was too quiet.

I'm sorry, I explained poorly, I was trying to posit that if you were to beat her, then instead of the girl being shredded in the next room, she's intact.

Ohhh, yeah. Maybe that explains why. Either way, 0/10, not dreaming again. It's rare to see my dreams repeat, but damnit, I'm curious now that you said it. :P

The thing I don't like about experiencing time in reverse is the way entropy goes the other way. It feels bizarre until you're used to it, then it just seems like reality.
