That's how they go. Coke commercials are weird, as are Chevy commercials, Tide commercials, and every other commercial.

Do people even ever follow those? Does any American ever go to their doctor and say "I heard of a miracle medication for my Fibromyalgia, can you prescribe it to me?"

Sometimes we're so conditioned to marketing, and they often target people in pain, people already in a state of need. It brings in enough that I read somewhere once (someone smarter can link it) that 8 out of 9 Big Pharma companies spend more on marketing then on R&D.

It's possible, considering how gullible people are.

I know. It's going to be a shitty scorecard for us in the end of Sim Species if our grand ending was being too dumb to beat the microbes.

Course it does. It's a Wes Anderson movie. Guy can't make a bad flick...except The Darjeeling Limited...but that was a fluke.

Indeed.

Though to be fair, the guy controlling us is a massive dick. Like, he makes us get all the sims in our own simulations into a pool and then just remove the ladders so there is no escape...

I'll have to report back to the MCC in Mars City that humans are still not prepared for long-term cooperation with the Martian Military Alliance.

Yes, I know my name is a bad joke. If you don't get it, read it upside down.

“A lot happens to a nation when you don't focus on what you desire, rather than me specifically focusing on (mainly) trout, cheese, nudity, and many other areas!”

It is worth noting that my nation does not represent my personal beliefs.

A good portion of the area near where I live was on fire today. Fire and Ice - coincidence? I think not.
