Due to the sheer anonymity of it all I know some people have started moving into making NFA items with 3D printers as well, which is super illegal but impossible to stop. I've seen working suppressors where the baffles are made on a printer and it hasn't been released yet but I know a guy with a working full auto PLA AR lower.
