I think he means non-automatic rifles. M4 not okay;AR15 okay..

Me, I just want weapons the military has, especially if the common man is suppose to be the militia. I mean, how shit is a militia if it can't use a machine-gun to execute proper squad tactics? I mean, sure you and a few friends have semi-auto rifles, but without machine-gun, you are shit in most situations.

Same, get one of those fancy belt fed semi-autos and get good trigger skills and you have a somewhat slow rate of fire, but ammo to compensate, SAW/LMG.

Some how I double posted so instead I must say, that I think the whole, I would nuke the country in spite because I hate gun owners that much is hilarious.

It really goes to show that gun control isn't about saving lives but control. If they can't control us, than we should all die.

Vallermoore wrote:I'm mildly pro gun-but there should be certain limits on them. 6-shooters, shotguns, rifles, fine. Machine guns, AK47s, RPGS/bazookas/grenades not fine.

I at least understand this concept, that you are in theory only against the supposedly really deadly weapons, but fundamentally I disagree with it. The problem is the perception that machine guns or assault rifles are actually more deadly than say, handguns. A handgun killed 67 people in Norway, the deadliest mass shooting in the entire world, eclipsing the next deadliest with so-called assault weapons, which was 58 killed in Las Vegas. While sad that anyone dies, assault weapons in general don't kill more than handguns, and in fact 90% of mass shootings and 98% of murders with guns use weapons that don't even qualify as assault weapons to begin with, in the United States. So other than not being that deadly, they are also rarely used.

Consider that a truck attack recently kill 86 people and injured 458, that an arson in the U.S. killed 86, than arson killed 400 in Iran, and that a mass poisoning event killed 918. Consider that flammable materials, poison and vehicles are all easier to get ahold of than guns, and tend to kill far more people, as in dozens of times more people. In fact, there are accidents that have killed this many people from these methods, literal accidents, but never has a gun accidentally killed over 100 people, or even killed 100 people in a single person mass shooting. Forest fires have killed hundreds, as have poison grain disasters, and a car accident recently killed 152 people in Pakistan. By accident. 2.5 times that of the worst mass shooting, in the entire world, literally ever. 9/11 for example killed about 10 years worth of mass shootings, combined, if going by the 3 or more injured figure (which includes more mass shootings). Despite there being about 400 mass shootings a year according to left-wing sources (which does include things like suicide and self defense), only about 2-3 of these a year, or 78 in 30 years, resulted in more than 4 deaths, or around .5%. No single person mass shooting in the world has ever killed more than 100 people, and yet loads of other methods, from arson, to vehicle attacks, to poison have. Literally 2 have killed more than 33 in the U.S. So, as far as it goes, not only are assault weapons not as deadly as handguns, guns in general aren't as deadly as far more easily obtainable weapons, which have no practical purpose for self defense.

So, what is the solution then, if not to ban the supposedly deadly guns, which aren't actually that deadly and aren't as deadly as other weapons which any criminal could obtain even if guns were banned? Going after criminals, to try and stop them, perhaps help them if they are mentally ill, rather than removing one type of moderately deadly weapon, which is ideal for self defense, from the hands of virtually every citizen in a country. To make things simple, here's a source I made some time ago aggregating all of this.

Ok Big Jim since the other was locked.

It seems my company blocks things gun related and all I could find was wiki and well....it's wiki.

Does the FFL have to do a background check? Wiki only mentioned having to keep a registry of all sales.
