Don't get me wrong, I love this thing. But should there be a registration requirement to possess it due to the high FPS and the addition of a silencer, on an air rifle? Like, in Canada you need to register the non-silenced version of this, and it's illegal to possess the silenced version. I personally call BS on the strict laws, but it's Canada.

Nope not here in the US, one can also purchase full auto BB-guns.

No. Frankly you shouldn't need to register silencers period.

I've seen a few M&P15 22s in a few southern states. But as far as I can tell, no Walmarts here in Fla. sell guns.
What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

Well by that definition a flamethrower would qualify as a firearm.

Why, when there is no registration requirement to own real firearms in the U.S.? At least not in the more reasonable parts of the country.

No fire = not a firearm.

Canada says otherwise, because Canada is special. And since the thing qualifies as a firearm in Canada, the silenced version would be illegal, because silencers are illegal on firearms in Canada.
