Just reminded me about the time I played a hunting game... and made the decision to hunt deer... with a knife. Then survive a bear attack... using only a knife.

They were less efficient in comparison to modern firearms. Doesn't mean they didn't get the job done. You don't use wagons in place of cars, right? They can still get you from point A to point B within reason. The part that I don't get is why you need to have an armory just to "hunt". In Germany, for example, every weapon you own has to be justified, including for hunting. "I want one" doesn't fly there.

While America and Germany are both lovely places, they aren't the same country. Germany is irrelevant to US law.

Bows and arrows weren’t exactly efficient. Kinda why almost no one ever uses them beyond archery competitions. And yeah, different guns can be useful for different situations. What part of that don't you get?

My family processes the meat ourselves so it tastes a bit better. Plus, my step dad is a genius on the grill. One time we had deer steak wrapped in bacon. It was divine.

America was literally founded on the back of semi-organized civil militias. With guns. From the very beginning private ownership and maintenance of firearms was engrained in the American culture.

I can go deeper, but its clear you have no intention of having a realistic outlook on gun control and gun legislation and just want your ideal world to be propped up by deliberate ignorance. Just a heads up, if your ideology can't be upheld without ignoring reality, you should abandon it.
