Because America and Germany have vastly different histories, are governed by fairly different Constitutions, and have not-insignificant general cultural differences.

Hey, if you can't have 50 different hunting rifles to hunt deer, you might as well start building your own gulag.

Look at gun control this way. I can't shoot you if I don't have a gun. Limiting accessibility of guns will choke the flow of the lake of guns into criminal hands. We can dispose of the lake other ways, but it's hard to dispose of the lake if it's still raining.

My family processes the meat ourselves so it tastes a bit better. Plus, my step dad is a genius on the grill. One time we had deer steak wrapped in bacon. It was divine.

Well for one America was literally founded by violent revolution against a tyrant living halfway across the world whereas Germany was founded by federation and wars of expansion, so, there's that.

Well for starters after the Germans submitted to registration and selective disarmament the German government began a campaign of genocide. It's usually referred to as the holocaust, I'm sure you're familiar.

If I was gonna go with any one big difference between the US and Germany I'd go with that. Yeah.

America was literally founded on the back of semi-organized civil militias. With guns. From the very beginning private ownership and maintenance of firearms was engrained in the American culture.

I can go deeper, but its clear you have no intention of having a realistic outlook on gun control and gun legislation and just want your ideal world to be propped up by deliberate ignorance. Just a heads up, if your ideology can't be upheld without ignoring reality, you should abandon it.
