If you trust someone with one gun theres no reason to not trust them with five. You just aren't making sense right now.

Yes, because you live in a vacuum and no one else will ever have access to your guns, even by accident. I wouldn't completely trust anyone with a gun no matter how well-behaved they are. Incidentally, I apply the same reasoning to drivers and it has saved me from being run over multiple times.

What, you need 100 Kalashnikovs to go duck hunting? Get real, mate. A shotgun would suffice.

And what ignore aim also into deer hunting? And target shooting? And competitive shooting? And what about for conceal carry? And a duck shotgun probably isn’t the best shotgun for home defense.

So a handgun for self defense and a shotgun for hunting aren't enough for you? You need a dozen variants to satisfy your particular needs? People used to hunt with bows and arrows. You people are pathetic if you need more than that to hunt.

I'm justifying the number of guns I want based on need, I'm justifying it on the fact that I want a bunch of guns.

Coming from the guy throwing a hissy fit on the internet.

Anyway, yes, that’s why people made different variants. Most are fairly decent at killing, but they each usually succeed in areas others don’t. For example unless it’s fucking slugs I wouldn’t go big game hunting with a shotgun, just as I wouldn’t go a rifle. Same with target shooting.

That's your opinion, and I call BS. Hunting with firearms isn't pathetic, otherwise everyone since the invention of gunpowder is pathetic.

They were less efficient in comparison to modern firearms. Doesn't mean they didn't get the job done. You don't use wagons in place of cars, right? They can still get you from point A to point B within reason. The part that I don't get is why you need to have an armory just to "hunt". In Germany, for example, every weapon you own has to be justified, including for hunting. "I want one" doesn't fly there.

While America and Germany are both lovely places, they aren't the same country. Germany is irrelevant to US law.
