Pushing for Conservatism, 2018 and Beyond

While Republicans control the House, Senate, and Presidency, it's probably clear enough that we have plenty RINOs (Republican in name only) that fill what we call "the Right". There's been trouble passing truly Conservative legislation through all three points and this could signal major losses in the November mid-terms.

So I ask you:
How do we revitalize Conservatism to make sure we keep the House and Senate in 2018?
How do we move the country further Right for the long term?

Leftists have their plans for long term: Control public education, most major media outlets, universities, and Hollywood. It's been working for them. What do we do in response?

Let the Left have the universities, media, and Hollywood.

The real power lies in the banks. Gold wins wars, not words. The right wing should concentrate on taking over the banks. That is where the power truly lies. Its about financing and the power to decide who gets the loans.

Other than this, you could expand your power base in the military, law enforcement, and business world. The Church has also historically been a strong ally.

The GOP is worthless. They abandoned fiscal responsibility with Reagan and never looked back. I an strongly tempted to leave this party that was ruined by the neo """conservatives"""

Are we playing a game of Illuminati or something?

The GOP are a controlled faction in that though, not a playable one

Just wondering, since we're acting like you can 'claim' things as broad as the entire commercial sector, or the media.

Also I have to laugh at 'it's working for the Left' when the last Presidential election went kind of horribly wrong.

Democrats are barely left, and Republicans are Wilsonian neoliberals

You could argue that this thread is specific to American conservatism.

OP why did you conflate paleo-conservatism and social conservatism? I don't know about The Parkus Empire but when I hear "social conservative" I think "Religious Right" and "All Lives Matter", not William F. Buckley Jr. and Pat Buchanan.

Pat Buchanan is paleo, but Buckley is absolutely not.
