The fact is that governments are completely incapable of managing anything and corporations are the future. We just need to figure where the future corporate HQ will be.

We should build a flying island that travels around the world as the world capital. It would prevent geographic favoritism, and it would just be so cool.

I'd probably go with Geneva, considering how it is home to UN offices and was the home of the League of Nations. Plus, considering the USA is going downhill fast, I don't really want to put my eggs into New York City.

There is also a little region, sometimes called "the Orient," which you might have heard about. If you're an astute student of world geography, you might notice that an Empire that had strong influence over barely 1/3 of the civilised world at that time can't in any real sense be considered to be "ruling the world."

China alone had as much power and influence as the Roman Empire at its height, to say nothing of all the South Asian principalities.
