They got killed by the int3rnet which is sort of strange as they had an early web presence. It just never went anywhere.

There was a very nostalgic commercial over the Christmas holiday that - to me - seemed to be saying that no matter what happens we'll always be Toys R Us kids. Maybe I was reading too much into the commercial.

An alternative medicine website? Not really a shining example. And wanting a condition that usually results in social difficulties is not "genocide" any more than developing a smallpox vaccine. Just because you're fine with being autistic doesn't mean everyone is.

Yeah, it turned out to be a defintiely biased disability rights advocacy website that happened to be owned by the same people as...something, hard to tell what exactly. Should have checked before using that article But a good point is a good point, regardless. Between ethos, pathos, and logos arguments, logos ones work the best on me, not ethos. And I can redeem myself.

Regardless, I've read a lot more articles saying something along the lines of the same thing - at the most extreme, Autism Speaks is a genocidal hate group against autistics, not a charity for autistics, and at the least extreme, it's irresponsible. My point of view leans towards the more extreme side, and if Toys R Us supports Autism Speaks that much, I will have no sympathy. And it's not like I've never seen the opposing side - I'm more rational than that.

As the Wikipedia (AKA reputable website) articles I posted clearly state with citations all over the place, Autism Speaks has been accused of hateful or fearmongering rhetoric for reasons I absolutely understand. The Autistic Self-Advocacy Network is probably the most significant autism rights advocacy group in the world and they're obviously compased of autistics, and they write articles, too. Abortion is murder, murder against a certain genetic group is genocide. Said Autism Self-Advocacy Network has argued that this means abortion due to the heavy concentration on genetic markers. There are LEGO Daleks. They made a Dr. Who pack for the LEGO Dimensions game. Came with the Dr, a Dalek(used as a vehicle in the game), a Cyberman, and the TARDIS. He could've also built them from scratch.

Actually, yes, I have been that lucky. I am on the spectrum, and I specifically have Asperger Syndrome. But either way, even if it can be cured without murder abortion, I feel it’s unethical and dangerous to try to prevent or cure it.
