My apparently increasingly human scientists were naming an element, and of the four options, I chose something "practical" instead of the other options because science is important.
Silliness aside, the game is unfortunately a fan of prescriptive naming convention and reduced not only my intelligence, but my tech, AND my productivity for being literal.
Doubly unfortunately, this does not reflect actual science: Modern naming conventions are increasingly descriptive -- for example, "business science" is never "negotiumology" unless you're a Roman or a show magician, presumably.
Hooboy. Silly, backwater, impractical me. For trying to make science useful.
This is kinda related to the thing where particular people think correct grammar is an actual something, and that if rules aren't adhesive, the point being made is therefore automatically incredible. I love those guys.
Any grammar fans in the audience? It's nothing personal but you basically owe me 0.15% of my economy.
