"You have enemies? Good, that means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. . " - Winston Churchill

It is that time again where we cast off the shackles of monarchy, and let the lord protector establish his own dynasty. The stars stand aligned for yet another instalment of this thread, and what a journey we have ahead of us with equal amounts of fun and debate ahead of ourselves. While we can debate matters relating to economics, immigration, the present zeitgeist or enjoy just a little bit of cultural schadenfreude. Remember that the thread inhabits people of all sorts of persuasionsm and that victory as well as defeat in the present political winds should be handled gracefully on either side. We ask that you all follow the health and safety instructions of this thread and bantz at your own discretion.

Welcome all to the Right-Wing Discussion Thread (RWDT), a place where we discuss all matters appertaining to the right wing-spirit. This is the eleventh instalment of the thread making it NS's most beloved and controversial spots to engage in deep discussions that will no doubt bring fourth the fruits of wisdom and change your life. We ask the users to go by a dual-principle of being lenient towards the topic, but also understanding if things really get too off-topic and if necessary correct themselves. In particular, be cautious not to have too extended theological debates if it has little to do with the sphere of right wing policies in general. We thank you for your understanding.

Suggestions for improvements, changes, or additions is as always welcome.

Relevant subjects for discussion include:

  • The politics, philosophies, and ideologies of the right.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the RWDT. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Evola most of the jokes will go over a typical reader’s head. There’s also TEM’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from 4chan shitposting, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike the RWDT truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Aellex's existential catchphrase “Immigrants did it,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Jean Raspail’s French-language prophecy The Camp of the Saints. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Sir Edmond Burke’s genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a NationStates tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the mens’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 8)

Lumi's probably a Celt too.

3 - Full open borders with border security, checks and potential for deportation of harsher criminal immigrant elements. Melting-pot model.

I think without state intervention, this model would come out on top. All our current problems with assimilation go back to the central planners initiatives to ghettoize incoming immigrants.

Would y'all consider Islamism to be right-wing or an ideology that doesn't fit into the left-right political spectrum?

Only one that 100% fits the character is Aellex's Griffith.

THAT IS ALL THE PROOF YOU NEED.

Think it's so backwards that the only place it fits is the historical garbage dump.

I'm largely kidding about the leftist part. What are Islamism's economic stances?

Idk, that entirely depends on the Muslim you ask tbh.
But basically, the economy should be run based on Islamic values. So no haram businesses or haram forms of making money.
I read a good article comparing Islamic economics to capitalism and socialism: https://www.scribd.com/doc/27776957/Isl ... -Socialism
And here's an article that goes through the gist of what the ideal Islamic economy should be: https://www.islamreligion.com/articles/ ... am-part-1/
