From a Marxist sociological point of view, capitalism is economic, governmental (political), and much more. In Marxist sociology, we generally avoid economistic (economically reductionist) definitions of capitalism.
I always noticed that business structures are not that different from government structures, my high school civics teacher once said that you can either be ruled by big government, or big business. He said he’d choose government every time. Business only needs to look after its shareholders and whatnot, but a government must look after the citizens as a collective group.
